Job Description:

This is an executive-level strategic role dedicated to expanding our client's presence within the Romanian IT landscape. The primary mission is to drive the adoption of sophisticated automation and digital transformation platforms across large-scale enterprise accounts. Using a deeply consultative methodology, the successful candidate will target and capture market share in key sectors: retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, insurance, and banking.

A central pillar of this mandate is the creation and continuous development of an elite sales unit. The National Sales Director will be responsible for mentoring a team of consultative selling specialists, capable of navigating the complex demands of enterprise organizations, engaging confidently with C-suite executives, and building lasting commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive action plans to achieve and exceed short-, mid-, and long-term revenue quotas across all assigned domestic sectors
  • Actively recruit, mentor, and elevate a top-tier group of sales specialists, fostering a culture of continuous growth, positivity, and exceptional performance
  • Direct, inspire, and oversee the daily activities of the sales team, ensuring peak output and the achievement of all business targets
  • Implement robust tracking systems to monitor team performance, intervening proactively with necessary adjustments to secure revenue objectives
  • Maintain a constant pulse on industry shifts and competitor activity, leveraging insights to capture untapped opportunities and sustain market leadership
  • Continuously audit and refine the entire sales lifecycle to maximize operational efficiency and overall team performance
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key accounts, building deep trust and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
  • Partner closely with presales, delivery, and marketing teams to align strategies and deploy resources effectively
  • Compile in-depth revenue performance evaluations and deliver data-driven updates to senior leadership on a regular basis

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 6 years of B2B sales experience is required, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity — specifically managing sales teams, driving consultative methodologies, and closing complex technical solutions within the enterprise segments mentioned above
  • University degree is mandatory; strong preference for graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines
  • Exceptional command of English, with fluency in both verbal and written corporate communications
